Hello! My name is Stephen Cooper, and I have been training myself for 6 years. Personal training has impacted my life in a magnificent way, increasing my confidence, teaching me discipline, and changing my outlook on many things in life. Throughout this experience, I have undergone a transformation of the body that resulted in a transformation of the mind as well.
I have been training others since I was 15 and have loved seeing each and every one of the people I've trained achieve their goals. I have consistently studied since I began training and have formed a personal philosophy that I use when training myself and others, which is to always put the most current scientific literature at the forefront of my decisions and to help you learn how to apply that knowledge and eventually be able to train yourself in the same way.
Since my beginning, I have competed in 2 official powerlifting meets. The first being in the United States Powerlifting Association, where I placed 1st in my division, also setting state records in both the Squat and Deadlift, and the second being in the USA Powerlifting Federation, where I competed in a statewide collegiate meet for Auburn, again, placing 1st in my division.
I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as both a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, and have been working as a trainer at Auburn University since 2019. I cannot wait to help you reach your goals!Training plans
Along with training, I also have a passion for singing and helping others learn how to sing. With my mom having a masters degree in music and my dad leading worship at our church for decades, I have been involved with music for as long as I can remember. I started playing guitar in 3rd grade, tuba in 6th grade, and began singing in 10th grade.
Since then I have honed in on singing, as it is the form of musical expression that I am most passionate about. I would love to share this passion with you and help you develop your voice.Coaching plans
